There are habits a lot of us exhibits that takes away our dignity and integrity as a person knowingly and unknowingly. We have somehow normalized some of these habits and sometimes get away with it. A bad habit is a bad habit irrespective of how much you try to justify it. Here are 7 habits to cultivate....
DON'T MAKE A PROMISE IF YOU ARE NOT SURE YOU CAN KEEP
To maintain your dignity and self-respect as a person, learn not to give people assurance of things you are not sure you can give. Whenever you make such promises be sure not to ever break them. Don't say "promises are meant to be broken."
NEVER INTERRUPT PEOPLE TALKING
Cutting in when people are talking may be one of the things, we may overlook sometimes but is never a good habit. Wait for them to finish then you say what you want.
WHEN SOMEONE TELLS YOU A SECRET KEEP IT LOCKED
When someone tells you a secret, never ever share it with anyone come what may. Take it to your grave, even when you become enemies at some point.
NEVER SWIPE LEFT OR RIGHT WHEN SOMEONE SHOWS YOU A PICTURE ON THEIR PHONE, TABLET, ETC.
At no point should you swipe left or right if someone shows you a photo on their device. You never know what's next. Only do so when they give you the permission.
RESPECT ALL OPINIONS
We do not see things from the same perspective so learn to respect all opinions. What may seem morally right to you may be morally wrong to someone.
BE PUNCTUAL TO A TIME YOU FIXED
Don't fix a time without being punctual yourself. It's really a bad habit and should not be entertain. Time is money and it's a commodity we cannot afford to play with.
MONEY BORROWD MUST BE RETURNED
When you borrow money from someone, make sure to return it even before they ask for it.
